I’m very excited to partner up with Banana Republic again to feature a couple of pieces that were sent to me. (check out my last collaboration here) The first item is a black satin cami, which is a great basic to have in your closet. This one is excellent because it hits at the hip and is fully lined. I need to pick this up in white since it’s hard to find a quality white cami that isn’t see through! Wear the cami on its own, under a blazer, or layered over your favorite shirt for an effortless and trendy look.
I was also sent these mid-rise cropped burgundy trousers that are, hands down, the softest and most comfortable pair of trousers I own. I was honestly a tiny bit hesitant to wear these since I usually stick to black, white, gray, or navy colors for pants. I actually came to love the subtle pop of color these pants gave after trying them on and playing around with different looks. The beautiful deep burgundy, dark purplish shade matches other colors very easily and is appropriate for the workplace while also adding a little variety to your work attire.
For today’s look, I paired the trousers and cami with a gray coat from Zara for a neutral look. If you prefer something more vibrant, colors like lavender and blush pink would pair perfectly with the trousers! Accessories were kept pretty minimal with a gray crossbody that was unfortunately hidden by the coat, black belt with a gold round buckle, and a delicate gold double chain pendant. This velvet/suede belt is a steal at $10. The large gold buckle gives a similar vibe that the popular Gucci belt gives minus the crazy price tag and designer logo…
ALSO, Banana Republic is having their Friendsgiving sale for a limited time. Use the code: FRIENDS to get 40% off your entire order! (restrictions apply) Side note: how crazy is it that Thanksgiving is only one week away?!
Thank you so much for reading!
